Sedan Hit By Box Truck Overturns, Tractor-Trailer Jackknifes On Route 17 In Rochelle Park

A sedan collided with a box truck and overturned Tuesday afternoon on Route 17 in Rochelle Park -- 50 yards from where a tractor-trailer jack-knifed.

The sedan driver was going to be OK, responders said.

Both the sedan driver -- who was extricated by firefighters -- and the box truck driver were hospitalized after the crash, which closed the northbound highway indefinitely.

Both crashes apparently were related, responders said.
