Incumbent Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino amassed one of the largest landslide votes in recent history on Tuesday -- 62% to 38% -- to win re-election to office.
"You just don't know what's going to happen," the Democrat sheriff told Daily Voice after unofficially racking up 202,919 votes to 124,451 for Republican challenger Manuel V. Alfonso.
"There are a lot of good people out there who believe in me," Saudino said. "It's a good feeling."
