Garrett Haskins, who was staying at the Airport Motel, is being held on $202,500 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with sexual assault and child endangerment.
The girl told South Hackensack police of the May 15 incident with Haskins — who is single and unemployed — and they contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office’s Special Victims Unit, Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.
Haskins was arrested after being brought in for questioning on Tuesday and had an appearance in South Hackensack Municipal Court yesterday.
