HACKENSACK, N.J. -- William D Stumpf, 86, of Hackensack, died Sunday, Oct. 30.
Before retiring, he worked for MetLife. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation RC Church and a member of Catholic War Veterans: Fr. Washington Post #1710 both in Paramus. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served our country proudly during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Ann (nee Santore); step-son, Dominic D'Ambrosio and his wife Jean Saldi; and grandchildren, Grace, Maria and Lila.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus. The funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church, 234 N. Farview Ave., Paramus. Interment will be at Hackensack Cemetery.
