SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J – Felicia “Phyllis” Burrofato Paladino, a resident of South Hackensack, died Wednesday, May 18. She was 93.
Prior to retiring, she worked in the circulation department for The Record of Hackensack. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception and a member of the Socialites both of Hackensack and the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. Post # 8005 and the Senior Citizens both of South Hackensack.
She is survived by her children, Mary Ann Pfeiffer and her husband Howard of The Villages, Fla. and Lawrence J. Paladino Jr. and his wife Deborah of South Hackensack; grandchildren, Michele, Jeffrey, Stefanie, Ashley, and Allison; and great-grandchildren, Alexis, Sofia, Sierra, Roman, Tristan, Felicia, Savannah, Nina, Sabrina, Alyssa, Devin and Taylor.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence J. Paladino and siblings, Joseph Burrofato, Lena Mancini and Sam Burrofato.
The funeral will begin at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Service, 397 Union St., Hackensack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Ave., Hackensack. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
