HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Main Street Business Alliance and the City of Hackensack will present the 11th annual Hackensack Street Festival Saturday, Oct. 1.

The festival will take place on Main Street; it will feature merchants, food vendors, games and attractions, including a 300-foot zip line and a giant slide.

This year's main stage attraction will be internationally renowned Colombian salsa music band Orquesta Guayacán.

All food vendors must contact cliffhangerjimmy@aol.com for registration information.

Food vendors also must apply for a temporary health license from the Hackensack Health Department, 215 State St., Hackensack. An application can be printed from www.Hackensack.org. The fee is $25 for non-Hackensack licensed establishments.
