Amtrak's CEO Wick Moorman will be stepping down and replaced by former CEO of Delta and Northwest airlines Richard Anderson, multiple sources report.
Both members of the public and politicians have been blasting Amtrak for a series of delays and disruptions at Penn Station leading up to a massive push for repairs.
Service in and out of Penn Station is expected to decrease by 25 percent from July 10 to Sept. 1, thus affecting 600,000 commuters on Amtrak, NJ Transit and the LIRR.
