Alex, a Wayne Hills High School graduate, tied for 11th place at the United States Golf Association (USGA) tournament that ran from July 13 through 16 at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster.

It was the professional golfer’s best finish since 2014, when she tied for ninth at the Ricoh Women’s British Open, according to the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LGPA).

Alex’s family and New Jersey fans watched her compete in the tournament over the weekend.

“I'm really glad that the State of New Jersey and the community found it … interesting coming out to watch me and watching women's golf,” she told LGPA.com.
