On Monday, the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders cut the ribbon on a rehabbed 1932 former caddy house that now serves as a shop where golfers can check in to play and purchase golf equipment and apparel.
The course’s practice facility, which includes targets and tee areas, was also recently renovated.
“The Preakness Valley Golf Course is offering our residents a private golf experience at a public rate. Likewise, the new practice facility is going to allow us to continue to grow our junior golf clinic and new programming to young golfers so we can continue to grow the game,” said Passaic County Freeholder Theodore “TJ” Best.
