Joseph Cicchelli Officially Appointed Hackensack Interim Supt. Of Schools

HACKENSACK, N.J. — A resolution officially appointing Joseph Cicchelli Hackensack's interim supt. of schools has been passed by district officials.

Cicchelli was appointed the district's assistant supt. on May 10, after Supt. Karen Lewis was suspended upon refusing to resign under a five-year contract, sources with direct knowledge of the situation told Daily Voice.

Lewis will officially resign on June 15, according to a resolution passed by Bergen County officials.
