Ullman, Garofalow Oust Republicans In Maywood; Dems Sweep In R. Park

Democrats Linda Boniface and Marc Vojnich beat out incumbent Francis Valenzuela (R) and Joseph Scarpa (R) in the Rochelle Park Township Council election, according to unofficial results from the Bergen County Elections Office.

Gerard Sorrentino was re-elected to the RP school board, along with Layla Wuthrick and Scott Kral.

Democrats James Anzevino and Luis Perdomo ran uncontested in South Hackensack, as did current school board members Anika Davis and Elizabeth Anzevino.

Dems Ryan Ullman and Matthew Garofalow ousted Republican incumbents Francis Messar III and Rickie De Heer in Maywood. Danyel Cicarelli and Gina-Marie Kiely ran uncontested for the school board.
