Incumbent Hawthorne Mayor Wins Republican Primary

HAWTHORNE, N.J. – Incumbent Hawthorne Mayor Richard Goldberg came out on top in the Republican primary election for mayor Tuesday, according to unofficial results released the Passaic County Clerk’s Office.

He will face off against Democrat Naomi B. Collier in the November general election for the three-year term. Collier ran uncontested in her party’s primary Tuesday.

Goldberg earned 1,020 votes, and challenger Frank Giglio earned 873 votes, according to the unofficial results.
