A government shutdown could be on the horizon because of failed negotiations between Gov. Chris Christie and top New Jersey lawmakers regarding a controversial bill affecting Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.
Christie told legislative leaders they could either pass a budget after approving the bill or send him a budget without the Horizon bill — and bid farewell to the $325 million of Democratic priorities, NJ.com reports.
