South Hackensack PD: Truck Burglary Spree Cracked With Lodi Man's Arrest

SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. -- South Hackensack police said they cracked a series of truck break-ins and battery thefts from commercial trucks with the arrest of a Lodi man.

Charles Lentini Jr., 31, had six car batteries taken in other towns when he was arrested before dawn on Friday, Capt. Robert Kaiser said.

The arrest followed a month-long investigation and produced eight counts each of burglary and theft against Lentini, who remained held on $10,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
