ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. -- The only person in a Rochelle Park office after a wallet was stolen from a desk was ultimately charged with taking it -- and then using it to buy gift cards and McDonald's chicken nuggets, authorities said.
Angela Bubenik, 36, was being held on $30,000 in the Bergen County Jail, charged with credit card theft, fraud and attempted fraud after investigators arrested her Wednesday in front of her Haledon home, Detective Sgt. James DePreta told Daily Voice.
Detectives "determined that the only person to have entered the office prior to the discovery of the [July 11] theft was a member of a cleaning crew," DePreta said. "Detectives were able to review surveillance footage from a Walgreens and Rite Aid store."
