A police officer armed with an assault rifle and another holding a handgun were photographed outside the Leonard Street home on Saturday.

A Bergen County law enforcement source told Daily Voice at the time that the incident didn't rise to a level that required mobilizing a regional SWAT team.

Both a local and county police source said the incident "wasn't serious."

Luthcke's report:

"On June 24 at about 7pm, Ridgewood Police received a report of a man who felt threatened at the sight of a gun in a residence on Leonard Place. The Ridgewood Police responded with appropriate caution until they could determine there was no active threat."
