HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A reported jumper into the Hackensack River Tuesday morning was actually a worker inspecting a city bridge foundation, authorities said.
"We have county engineers working the bridges," Capt. Francesco Aquila told Daily Voice around 9 a.m. "It was one of them checking something out."
A city fire department boat was initially dispatched. Meanwhile, Bogota police were searching from the other side.
