Police: Burglar Tried Getting In Shower With Hackensack Woman

HACKENSACK, N.J. — James King of Jamaica, N.Y. was charged with burglary and lewdness after entering a woman's Hackensack home and proceeding to take his clothes off in the bathroom where she was showering Wednesday morning, police said.

At 8:20 a.m., Hackensack police responded to a house on First Street on a report of a burglary in progress, authorities said.

The victim stated that while she was showering, King entered the bathroom and proceeded to remove his clothing, according to police.

When the victim advised him that she was going to call the Police, the actor left the bathroom, police said.

Upon arrival, Hackensack Police Officers located King cleaning the dishes in the kitchen.
