HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Police on Tuesday confirmed a bomb threat directed at Hackensack High School through an email to the Bergen County Sheriff's Office tips line.
The school was deemed safe after the Bergen County Bomb Squad swept the school with a K-9 unit following the 6:30 p.m. message, Capt. Timothy Lloyd, the city department commander.
His detectives were working with the county prosecutor's office and New Jersey State Police to identify the source, Lloyd said.
