MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Maywood police following up on their arrest of a borough man on drug-selling charges seized 111 Oxycodone tablets and $8,000 in suspected proceeds during a search of his home.
Additional charges that resulted boosted bail to $80,000 for 23-year-old Thomas Delvecchio, who was being held in the Bergen County Jail.
Detectives who were watching Delvecchio's home arrested him Friday after taking a buyer into custody.
They returned with a second search warrant yesterday, Police Chief David Pegg told Daily Voice this morning.
The 30mg Oxycodone tablets that they found are worth about $3,300 on the street, the chief said.
This investigation was triggered by complaints from concerned citizens about drug dealing at Delvecchio's home, he noted.
