Thomas Delvecchio, 23, was being held on $35,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with distributing and possessing drugs and resisting arrest.

Detectives watching Delvecchio's residence arrested Jean Marin, 23, of Westwood on possession charges before the Friday raid, Police Chief David Pegg said. He was released with a court date.

Investigators "obtained a search warrant for Delvecchio’s residence and two vehicles parked in Delvecchio’s driveway," the chief said.

"With the assistance of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit and members of the Hackensack Police Department, a search warrant was executed at Delvecchio’s residence," he said.

"While conducting the search warrant, Delvecchio refused to follow officers’ orders and resisted being handcuffed," Pegg said.
