Hackensack Firefighters Douse Laundry Blaze

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Hackensack firefighteres quickly put down a blaze at a local laundry Thursday morning.

No injuries were reported.

Members of the 2nd platoon responded to the two-alarm First Street blaze just before 10 a.m., Lt. Justin Derevyanik said.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which broke out in the rear of the building, Derevyanik said.

Teaneck firefighters sent a FAST team and Hackensack University Medical Center an EMS unit.

Fire officials were investigating the cause.
