HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Hackensack firefighters put down an electrical blaze that broke out in the walls of a Main Street janitorial supply company Thursday night.
No injuries were reported.
First-arriving responders found light smoke coming from the E. Ward Street side of the building just before 7:30 p.m., Capt. Justin Derevyanik said Friday morning.
"Companies found fire in the walls on the first floor due to a electrical problem," Derevyanik said, adding that the blaze was brought under control within a half hour.
Englewood firefighters and a Teaneck FAST team joined their colleagues at the scene, while Bogota and Ridgefield Park answered additional alarms in the city.
