Murat Patirdi, 31, remained held on $25,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with resisting arrest, hindering and heroin possession.

Two associates -- driver John R. Schauer, 28, of Rocky Point, S.C., and back seat passenger Brian Klick, 24, of Matamoras, PA -- were released on summonses for heroin possession.

Offiers stopped the car for several moving and equipment violations just after 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Detective Lt. Edward Kane said Friday.

Besides 60 bags of heroin, Patirdi had a crack pipe and hypodermic needle, he said. He also was wanted for violating parole out of Pennsylvania.

Schauer and Klick were carrying 10 bags of heroin each, Kane said.
