Authorities found a note left behind by Barry Bianchi, 50, of Lodi in the office where the park maintenance director's body was found with a gunshot wound around dawn Wednesday, sources with direct knowledge of the incident told Daily Voice.

Law enforcement sources said no foul play was suspected in the death of Bianchi, who state pension records say worked for the county for 27 years.

“I can confirm that Barry Bianchi, a county employee, was found deceased today in Van Saun County Park,” Alicia D'Alessandro, the county director of communications under Executive Jim Tedesco, told Daily Voice.
