MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Telly DeCapitani, a resident of Maywood, died Saturday, April 16. He was 95.
He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps, a member of Maywood American Legion Post 142 and parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace. Before retiring, he worked as a lithographer.
He is survived by his children, Walter T. DeCapitani and his wife, Jean; and his grandchildren, Shanna and her husband, Brian; and Kristin; and his great-grandchild, Abigail.
Visiting will be Monday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Trinka-Faustinki Funeral Service in Maywood. The funeral from will be held Tuesday, April 19, at 9:30 a.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery.
