MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Patrick Edmond Andrews, a resident of Maywood, died Saturday, Feb. 27. He was 70.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked for 40 years as a radiology technician, including chief of special procedures at HUMC and senior technoglist at Chilton Memorial Hospital. He was the first recipient at HUMC of the HUMC Community Service Award, medical advisor to HUMC Medical Explorer Post and served 18 years as trustee on the Maywood Board of Education.
He is survived by his spouse Cam; children Dawn Mattera and her husband Anthony and Dina Paradiso and her husband Frank; grandchildren Alyssa and Joya Mattera and Gabrielle and Sarina Pardiso; brothers Raymond Andrews and Gregory Andrews; sister-in-law Marie Emerick; and several nephews and nieces.There will be a funeral at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, 439 Maywood Ave., Maywood, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity RC Church, Hackensack. Entombment will be in Garden of Memories, Township of Washington.
Visiting hours are from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
