HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Patricia M. Izzo (nee Duffy) of Hackensack died Tuesday, Dec. 15. She was 87.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis J. Izzo.
Patricia Izzo was a resident of Hackensack for nearly 65 years. Born in Queens, New York, she was a graduate of Bergen Community College, a literacy volunteer, library patron, Holy Trinity Church parishioner, New Jersey State Women’s Bowling Association High Series and Columbiettes member. She worked as a human resources employee at the Bergen County Utilities Authority.
She is survived by her three children, Robert, Brian (Kristi) and Joan (David ); grandson Andrew; sister Joan Sharp (Richard); sister-in-laws Peggy Duffy and Katherine Duffy; and many nieces and nephews. Patricia’s four brothers, Peter, Robert, John, and William predeceased her.
Visitation will be held at Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, 439 Maywood Ave., Maywood, on Sunday, Dec. 20, from 1 to 4 p.m.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Dec. 21, at 12:20 p.m. at Trinka-Faustini.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Johnson Public Library, Hackensack, or the Life Source Hospice/Foundation for HOPE, Paramus.
