ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. -- Mary E. (Muller) Vitkuske -- a Rochelle Park resident, formerly of Union City -- died on Saturday, Feb. 11. She was 85.
Before retiring, Vitkuske was an insurance agent for NIA Insurance. She was a member of the Rochelle Park Seniors Club and a board member and member of the Sacred Heart Rosary Society.
"Mary loved to volunteer and worked with the Helping Hands Ministry," information from the funeral home noted.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Kranich and her husband Arthur, James Vitkuske, Doreen Vitkuske Blumberg and her husband Aaron; daughters-in-law Christine and Victoria Vitkuske; grandchildren Kristy, Catherine, Stephanie, Heather, Nichole, Kira, Andrew, James, Victoria and Elizabeth; and nine great-grandchildren.
Vitkuske was preceded by her husband, Kenneth, and her son, Kenneth.
The funeral service was held on Wednesday morning, Feb. 15, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, with a funeral mass at the Sacred Heart Church, in Rochelle Park. Interment was in the Hillside Cemetery, in Lyndhurst.
