Prior to retiring she had worked as a seamstress at Gluckin's Bra Factory and later worked as a waitress at Lena's Luncheonette, both in Hackensack. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church where she was a member of the Children of Mary.
She is survived by her children, Elaine Scea and her husband Robert and Carol Piazza; grandchildren, Tammy, Robert, Christine, Sharon, and Nicholas; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jean Holienka and the late Frank Barone, Joseph Barone, Salvatore Barone, Peter Iurato, Joseph Iurato, Rachel Barone, Nellie Pepe, and Sondra Calabrese.
She is predeceased by her husband, Nicholas A. Piazza.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 - 7 p.m. at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union St., Hackensack. Mass is 10:30 a.m. on Monday at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi St., Hackensack with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery.
