ROCHELLE PAR, N.J. -- Lillian Planata, of Rochelle Park, died Friday, Aug 5. She was 87.
Before retiring, she worked for Zaentz Hardware in Hackensack as a billing clerk. She was a member of Bethany Church in Wyckoff and a member of the Life Group at the church.
She was the mother of Patricia Nasta and her husband Mike, of South Hackensack, Steven Planata and his wife Bea, of Luxembourg, and Robert Planata of Queens, N.Y.; grandmother of Rebecca, Sara, Joseph, Celine and Jillian; and sister of Helen Cortland.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at a time to be announced at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus
