She was a representative for the New York Telephone Co and New Jersey Bell. She spent her retirement with family, reading and watching golf.
She is survived by her children, Joseph (Morena) of Nokomis, Fla.; Christine Magee (Michael) of Waldwick; Kyle Byrnes (John) of The Woodlands, Texas; Mark McCormack of New York City; and Carolyn Dentato (Patrick) of Hillsdale; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Connelly (Andrew); and her sister-in-law, Corinne Gallagher.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph; her parents Matthew and Mary; and siblings, Betty, Bob and Matt.
Visiting hours are Friday, March 18, from 4-8 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 19, at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St., Midland Park. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y.
