HACKENSACK, N.J. – Ismael Colon, a resident of Hackensack, died Sunday, July 17. He was 74.
Born in Puerto Rico, he is the son of the late Ismael and Juanita Colon.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; siblings, Blanca Serena of Long Island, N.Y., Eduvigis "Vinnie" Sanchez of Tampa, Fla. and Catherine Castro and her husband Rene of New York City.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He also is survived by sister-in-laws, Madeline M. Mania of Hackensack and Marie Loidi and her husband Jose of Hackensack.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m.Thursday. There will be a funeral at 8:45 a.m. Friday from the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi St., Hackensack. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, 300 Soldier Hill Road, Township of Washington.
