MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Ilse R. Soroka, of Maywood, died on Friday, Dec. 30. She was 85.
Soroka worked for Shop Rite in West Orange as a meat wrapper for 35 years, and she retired in 1993.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Rutledge and her husband Rich, and her grandchildren, Anthony Villecco, and Tiffany and Richie Rutledge. She was predeceased by her husband, John Soroka, and her son, Peter Soroka.
Services were held at the Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, in Maywood, on Jan. 8, and cremation was private. Memorial donations can be made to the FernDog Rescue Foundation, by clicking here.
