MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Hiqmet Ballolli, of Maywood, died on Tuesday, Jan. 10. He was 82.
Born in 1934, Ballolli grew up as a farmer in Albania before he moved to the United States. "He loved nature and all of its beauty," information from the funeral home noted.
He is survived by his wife, Vergjinush (Licolli) Ballolli; children Aferdita Mino, Sokol Ballolli and his wife Anxhela, and Agim Ballolli and his wife Matilda; grandchildren Maggie, Claudia, Soana, Andi, Aaron and Odens; and siblings, Hedije, Felleza and Shpresa.Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, at the Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, 439 Maywood Ave., in Maywood. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, 535 Hudson St., in Hackensack.
