SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Felicia 'Phyllis' Burrofato Paladino, of South Hackensack, died on Wednesday, May 18. She was 93.
Before she retired, Paladino worked in the circulation department for The Record of Hackensack. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception and a member of the Socialites, both of Hackensack, and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 8005 and the Senior Citizens, both of South Hackensack.
She was survived by her children, Mary Ann Pfeiffer and her husband Howard of the Villages, Florida, and Lawrence Paladino Jr. and his wife Deborah of South Hackensack; grandchildren Michele, Jeffrey, Stefanie, Ashley and Allison; great-grandchildren Alexis, Sofia, Sierra, Roman, Tristan, Felicia, Savannah, Nina, Sabrina, Alyssa, Devin and Taylor.
Paladino was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Paladino, and her siblings, Joseph Burrofato, Lena Mancini and Sam Burrofato.Visiting hours will be from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, May 20, at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Service, 397 Union St., in Hackensack. The funeral will begin at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday from the funeral home. A mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Ave., in Hackensack, with entombment following at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
