MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Edward J. Manning, of Maywood, died on Wednesday, April 6. He was 91.
A Navy veteran of World War II, Manning was vice-president of production for the Hot Press in New York City, until he retired. He was an active member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, in Maywood, for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elaine (Stanion) Manning; daughter Dale Manning Thegeby and her husband Bjorn, and daughter-in-law Heidi Hass; grandchildren Sarah and Andrew; and niece Susan Miller.
Manning was predeceased by his son, Bruce; grandson Stephen Thegeby; and sisters Helene and Dorothea.
Visiting hours will be from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, with a 3:30 p.m. funeral service, at Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, 439 Maywood Ave., in Maywood. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to
