ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. -- Doris Zeberl, of Rochelle Park, died on Wednesday, Jan. 18. She was 83.
Before retiring, Zeberl worked for Rochelle Park Board of Education as a Cook. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R. C. Church and a member of the Sacred Heart Mother's Guild, a Girl Scout Leader, a member of the Rochelle Park PTA, a Cub Scout Leader and a Eucharistic Minister at Sacred Heart. She was the first female President of the Rochelle Park Swim Club and a past member of the Rosary Society.
Zeberl is survived by her husband, Randolph Zeberl; children, Pauline Sheridan, Florence Borsody, Randolph Zeberl, Jr and his wife Irene and Bruce Zeberl and his wife Robin; grandchildren, Tyler, Brian, Rachael and Rianna; and siblings, Janet Montanaro and Bernard Schipano.
Family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 20, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus. Funeral Service will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Rochelle Park. Interment Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to your favorite charity.
