HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Darcy A. Lanzo, 55, of Hackensack and formerly of Hasbrouck Heights passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016.
She was born in Hoboken. She was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, where she received her bachelor's degree, as well as a degree from the Wood Tobe-Coburn Institute of Design in New York City.
Lanzo was an interior designer and the owner of Interiors by Darci in Hackensack.
Survivors include her longtime companion Henry J. Amoroso;. She was the daughter of Maureen Lanzo and Ralph O. Lanzo; sister of Ralph Lanzo and his wife Mary Ann and Douglas Lanzo Sr. and his wife Coleen; aunt of Gabriella Lanzo, Samantha Albanese and her husband Matthew, Doug Lanzo Jr., Sophia Lanzo and Joseph Lanzo; and a great-aunt of Aaliyah.
There will be a funeral at 9 a.m. Monday at the Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights. There will be a funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 218 Washington Place, Hasbrouck Heights. Interment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
