Constance (Constandelis) Caravoulias, 91, Of Maywood

MAYWOOD, N.J. — Constance (Constandelis) Caravoulias, 91, of Maywood, died Sunday, Oct. 9.

She was born and raised in Paterson; she resided in Paramus before settling in Maywood 22 years ago.

A faithful and lifetime member of St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Paramus, she was a member of the St. Irene Philoptochos Society, Senior Citizen Group and choir.

During World War II, she was employed with Wright Aeronautical Corporation in Paterson. Prior to retiring, she was a bookkeeper with Hackensack Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Constantine Caravoulias; children, James Caravoulias and wife Mary and Cheryl Andriulli and husband Angelo; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three siblings. 

The family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn. There will be a trisagion service at  8 p.m. Thursday. A funeral service is planned for 10 a.m. Friday at St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, 51 Paramus Road, Paramus. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
