HACKENSACK, N.J. — Alfred A. Seibold Jr. Jr., 68, of Hackensack, died Oct. 23.
He was born in 1948. He worked in the production department for a battery factory in Ephrata, Pa. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War who also attended Peace Officer Training Service College in 1977.
He was an avid judo and karate aficionado, a kind and generous man who enjoyed helping others and enjoyed dancing, motorcycles and being the life of the party. In one final act of kindness, he gave the gift of his corneas to two needy people.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sharon (nee Eckman).
He is survived by his children, Cheryl Seibold Marando and her husband Frank, Joseph Waldhart, Deborah Waldhart and Lois Wilsman and her husband Gregg; grandchildren, Mia and Robert; and siblings, Ruth Brunas and her husband John and the late Edna Mae Bradler and her husband James.
The funeral service will be conducted at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the Second Reformed Church of Hackensack, 436 Union St., Hackensack. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. Burial will follow at Hackensack Cemetery in Hackensack. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday for visitation at the funeral home.
