HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Parking will be restricted on Central Avenue in Hackensack once roadwork begins there this coming Monday, police said Wednesday.
Parking will be prohibited between First Street and Railroad Avenue east of the railroad tracks and west of Park Avenue.
Parking will be permitted on the east side of Railroad Place and Railroad Avenue, south of Central.
Police ask that driveways and fire hydrants not be blocked and to keep intersections clear.
In addition, repairs on the Anderson Street Bridge are set to begin on Feb. 16.
For 90 days, there will be no eastbound traffic on the bridge.
Once that work is completed, repairs to the westbound side will commence immediately and take another 60 days, police said.
