HACKENACK, N.J. – A Hackensack man was among the passengers on a flight from Moscow to Bangkok Monday that experienced extreme turbulence, resulting in several injuries, multiple sources report.
“Out of nowhere we hit turbulence, that was so bad that it was throwing people around like crazy. Blood everywhere, people with broken bones, noses, open fractures, baby’s with head injuries, I can keep going,” Rostik Rusev shared on Instagram. “Thank God we are Alive!”
Rusev posted a video on Instagram showing an injured passenger lying in the aisle.
Rusev, who lives in Hackensack and is originally from Ukraine, was one of 318 passengers on board the Aeroflot flight, according to a CNN.com report.
At least 27 passengers were injured – with some suffering serious fractures and bruising, according to the report.
