Hackensack Judge Recuses Herself From $16M Case

HACKENSACK, N.J. — Bergen County Superior Court Judge Lisa Perez-Friscia recused herself from an assigned case in Hackensack involving internet posts involving a law firm where her husband works, NJ.com reports

Public Relations Executive Alan Marcus is suing former Bergen County Executive Dennis McNerney for $16 million alleging defamation, computer related offenses and more, the article says.


According to the lawsuit, McNerney and his wife used 27 internet aliases to post nearly 90 comments under articles alleging Marcus committed bribery and exchanged county contracts for sex, NJ.com says.
