Copies of the resolution were presented to representatives from Bergen County’s Division of Alternatives to Domestic Violence (ADV), YWCA healingSPACE, The Center for Hope and Safety (formerly Shelter our Sisters), and the Bergen Family Center for their continued commitment to helping victims of sexual assault and sexual violence.

“It is important that we support these organizations in the fight against sexual assault,” Freeholder Chairman Steve Tanelli said in a statement. “This Freeholder board is committed to recognizing the efforts of our own ADV Department and all agencies that work to keep Bergen County residents safe.”

If you or you know someone else who has been a victim of sexual assault, call Bergen County ADV’s 24-hour Crisis Hotline at 201-336-7575.
