Late Hackensack Custodian's Brothers Need Funds For Ticket To Funeral

HACKENSACK, N.J. — Jason and Jonathan Demmie weren't planning on coming to New Jersey, but following the tragic and unexpected passing of their brother, Justin, they'll be coming in for the funeral Sunday.

That is, if they can raise enough money for plane tickets from Arizona.

More than $850 had been raised on a GoFundMe for the cause as of Wednesday evening.

"As with any unexpected event, you don't plan for things like this, so money is really tight right now," their brother Michael Demmie said.

"We need to raise $1,200 to fly them out to New Jersey. Please help us to get them here so that we can pay our respects to our brother together, as he would have loved for us to do."
