HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Kids with cancer isn't a happy topic during the holidays, but that didn't stop the HackensackUMC Foundation and HackensackUMC Fitness & Wellness Center from teaming up with former New York Giants to host a Breakfast with Santa to raise money to help them, according to Bergen.com.
Former Giants players Otis Anderson, Jesse Armstrong, Sean Landeta and David Tyree took part in the event at the breakfast held each year in support of Tackle Kids Cancer, a program supporting the Children’s Cancer Institute at HackensackUMC, according to Bergen.com.
One hundred percent of all donations made to Tackle Kids Cancer benefit the essential clinical care, unique support services and groundbreaking cancer research needed to find a cure, said Bergen.com.
