State Police Deliver Gifts To Hackensack Cancer Patients

HACKENSACK, N.J. — New Jersey State Police officers brought smiles to cancer patients at the John Theurer Cancer Center in Hackensack Thursday.

Together, the group visited nearly 75 patients ranging in ages from 7 months to 87 years old.

Ingui and his wife, Denise, brought gifts from their foundation, Rare is Beautiful, which they started after their daughter was diagnosed with Peutz Jeghers Syndrome, a rare inherited condition that puts people at an increased risk for developing polyps as well as cancers.

Detective I Dennis Cappello was on hand with his wife, Lori, who is a research nurse at the Medical Center.

Together, the group visited nearly 75 patients ranging in ages from 7 months to 87 years old.
