New Hackensack Self-Storage Company Sets Food Drive

HACKENSACK, N.J. — Westy Self Storage in Hackensack will be holding a non-perishable food drive to aid the Center for Food  Action through Dec. 15.

“It is with great pleasure that we assist CFA,” District Director of Westy Self Storage Tim Mincin said.

“It is important to remember those in need, especially in our own communities.”

CFA is headquartered in Englewood and has sites in Fairview, Hackensack, Mahwah, Ridgefield, Ringwood and Saddle Brook.

It opened a site on BCC's Paramus campus to serve low-income students and families in 2014.

“The Center for Food Action (CFA) provides emergency services to northern New Jersey’s poorest and most vulnerable residents," CFA Director of Communications & Community Relations Jennifer Johnson said.

"CFA provides food, housing, utility and heating assistance and offers counseling and advocacy services to low-income individuals and families."    

Westy is open for drop off from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays at 65 Commerce Way, Hackensack.
