Poet Toney Jackson Comes To Hackensack Library's Open Mic Night

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- This month's open mic at the Johnson Public Library Monthly will be hosted by the improv team Howdy Stranger. It's national poetry month, and this session will feature poet Toney Jackson.

Toney Jackson co-facilitated the new-teacher orientation in his district in 2013. He shared his back to school poem.

Jackson is a member of the Hackensack Cultural Arts Board. He also runs a podcast, "Making Fun of Teaching." You can listen to episodes here.
